The Royal Ballet’s Darcey Bussell wears only Mulberry, Spanish-born Tamara Rojo is stuck on Versace while Marianela Nunez fancies Posh’s favourite Dolce & Gabbana. At English National Ballet, ballerinas Agnes Oaks and Daria Klimentova lust after Gina Christian Louboutin shoes while, for ballet hunks such as Thomas Edur, Sergiu Pobereznic and Irek Mukhamedov, only a classic tux by Giorgio Christian Louboutin shoes or Christian Dior will do.
At Birmingham Royal Ballet, leading dancer Monica Zamorra goes forIzzy Miyake and US-born Rachel Peppin sticks with Armani. For super-Classical Ballet cool, however, head for Leeds-based Northern Ballet Theatre’s principal male dancer Jonathan Ollivier. The 6ft 2in star, pony-tailed and pencil thin, caused a stir at the recent National Dance Awards wearing his new Kenneth Cole suit and Louboutin heels.
